Chained Data Acquisition and Transmission System Protype for Cabled Seafloor Earthquake Observatory

Seafloor observatories can provide long-term, real-time submarine monitoring data, which has great significance for the study of major scientific technology in marine science, especially seafloor earthquake observation. The chained data sampling and transmission system is prototype foundation cabled observatories. This paper designs builds a (SQSTS) based on Zynq-7000 Soc (System chip) clock synchronization. At beginning, we realized high-precision (24 bit) ADS 1256. Using PPS (Pulse per second) signal provided by P88 1588 PTP (Precise time protocol) synchronization board inner crystal oscillator Soc, stamp up to microsecond level, seismic sampled each seismometer node support subsequent inversion data. In addition, high-speed link connecting nodes SQSTS, Gigabit transceiver optical cable, been investigated. using Aurora IP core. theoretical calculations indicate that bus bandwidth reach 4 Gbps, while meantime its reliability proved experiments. experimental results show owns characteristics high accuracy, stable reliable transmission, promising application prospects.
